As AILFF’25 embraces the theme “Threads of Culture: Weaving Inclusion Through Filmmaking,” Mu’azu brings with him a formidable legacy spanning over three decades, with credits in acclaimed titles such as King of Boys, Lionheart, and Up North.

With more than 30 films and TV series to his name, Mu’azu’s prolific journey in front of and behind the camera has shaped the heart of Nigerian cinema. He’s famous for powerful roles—from the Emir in Sons of the Caliphate to the Governor in 4th Republic and Solomon in MTV Shuga Naija—cements his spot as an indomitable screen presence and master of his craft.
